Roles.
The Time Mechanic: The one who controls the time machine.
Skill Set:
-Ability to use the Time Machine. No one else can activate it or use it.
-Minor skills in healing.
-Minor skills in magic.
-Minor skills in combat.
-Minor skill in linguistics.
-Can pick one of those skill sets to advance, potentially two.
-May have the option to pick up Technomancy.
The General: The combat-master, who finds themselves naturally aware of many combat styles as the group travels.
Skill Set:
-Ability to use all weapon types (gradually)
-Ability to use all shield types (gradually)
-Ability to use all armor types (gradually)
-Ability to use various hand-to-hand skills (gradually)
-Master of Combat (gradually)
The Mage: With time in flux, it becomes easier to manifest the elements and use them quickly. The mage, however, cannot use their magic to heal.
Skill Set:
-Ability to use Fire magic (gradually)
-Ability to use Water magic (gradually)
-Ability to use Earth magic (gradually)
-Ability to use Air magic (gradually)
-Master of Magic (gradually)
The Historian/Linguist: With time in flux, the Historian becomes intimately aware of the situations going on, gaining psionic capabilities. This grants the Historian the ability to speak in the language of the era.
Skill Set:
-Ability to understand every language (gradually)
-Immediate understanding of the era they are in
-Ability to read minds (gradually)
-Ability to send thoughts into other minds (gradually)
-Ability to cause pain to another’s mind (gradually)
-CANNOT control others.
The Cleric: With time in flux, either time itself or a higher power has granted an individual the ability to heal injuries.
Skill Set:
-Ability to heal diseases (gradually)
-Ability to heal poisons (gradually)
-Ability to heal physical wounds (gradually)
-Ability to create magical barriers (gradually)
-CANNOT revive the dead.
Antagonists.[/u]
I will open up the roles of (potential) antagonists to players. If you are interested in playing one, PM me, whether it is simply for one of the time periods or one that is more long-lasting. Until they, they will be NPC’ed by the Admins with bios put up as necessary. Don’t expect the bio tells you everything if and when it is put up.
Two of the major antagonists are Lucifer and Loki. If you want one of these roles and know that now, please PM me. I would also like to see Venus taken, though she is not quite an antagonist. Her role can be determined more by the player.
