1802 AD, the rebellion against the French continues as Napoleon Bonaparte tries to bring Haiti under control. The figures of Charles Leclerc and Toussaint Louverture represent the two major sides, but also of note is the Vodou priestess Gabrielle Chanteuse, and the Catholic Bishop Frederick Macri.
Of course, there are other powers at play which are intent to see a result far different then what history has shown, and are manifesting now that the gates to time are open to more than the human travelers.
