A great temple has been built to Huitzilopochtli, and it needs to be reconsecrated. Unfortunately, that means with blood. Human blood.
The travelers will encounter a priest to Huitzilopochtli named Chimalli, King Ahuitzotl, and two about to be sacrificed who are plotting an escape--Teyacapan and Itzcoatl.
It would appear that with this being such a holy event, the outsiders are drawn here as well, and will use what sway they have over the priest whether it be to the benefit of the travelers or else to their detriment.
